My old printer often jammed when using the normal slot. Rear 'outside' paper tray for specialty paper such as photos, business cards and such. My wife loves that she doesn't have to see a fan of paper all the time Love that my paper is hidden away and not always collecting dust, etc. 'internal' paper tray' for normal paper printing similar to typical office printer. Wireless works in poorest reception area of the house Pros: Overall easy to use and quiet enough for me.

Without a wireless network this should wconnecting the printer and your computer. I believe a wireless router (not connected to the printer) is required to enable you to add this printer as a device on your home network. Because it has been selling so cheaply, I it will be soon discontinued.

This model has been on the market for about 3 years, so whatever bugs there might have been have been worked out. This printer is a strong buy south of a Bengie including shipping.

I would not have replaced the iP3000 if Epson had provided Win 7 drivers for my 9 year old scanner.

I was impressed that Canon provided Win 7 64-bit drivers for a unit they had not made for over 3 years. Overall Review: I have been a Canon fan since the Pixma iP3000 stole me away from HP. My cons are pretty nit-picking, and do not amount to the loss of an egg. It does take a while to warm up after you turn it on, but we don't print every day, so leaving it powered on would be eco-insensitive. You have to flip up the control panel to turn it on. I knew that going in, but did not care since I have not had a land line in 2 years. It does not FAX so some don't consider it a true all-in-one unit. I feel that is somewhat balanced out by the fact that it does not stick out from the printer, providing a cleaner look. It opens the finished document receiving tray automatically.Д¬ons: As others have stated, the paper tray seems flimsy. The OCR really works, but like any other optical character recognition program requires some clean up. I don't print pictures (that's why we have Walgreens, Sam's Club, etc.) so slightly lower quality non OEM ink will do fine. Third party ink is widely available and will save a bundle over time. The unit looks great and has a handy flip up to use and down to hide control module. It is a luxury have a photo copier, instead of using the cumbersome scan/save/insert/print process I used when I had a separate scanner and printer. It is nice to be able to print from my laptop from the patio. Now I don't have to turn my computer on so others can can print from the other room. I love the wireless function, which was easy to set up. Pros: The Canon Pixma MP560 is inexpensive considering all of its features, and so far has worked flawlessly.
